When a player dies, via slay command, they drop an item.
"Tombstone."
"Here lies, [name] of [player_spawn]. Aged [age], may they find eternal rest."
Tombstones can be placed in and around the overworld, once placed they are set in place.
They decay after one year, unless properly maintained.
Maintenance can be done by interacting with the tombstone and paying XYZ coins.
Reflecting at a tombstone for normal players provides a small bit of Comfort, a very small buff to whatever stat is suitable.
Faith-based classes may pray at a tombstone for Resolve, which provides a reasonable temporary buff (doesnt stack) for themselves to whatever stat is suitable in exchange for 1 faith. This should make the tombstone glow slightly (via art akin to an aura, not a light source.) until it's next maintenance cycle.
Undeath-based classes may desecrate a tombstone in exchange for infamy which provides no buff, but results in double the undeath collected in the next fight. If desecrated, a tombstone should have a blood splatter, and 10x the maintenance cost during the next cycle.
The numbers can be adjusted however, I just think it'd be fun to both reflect on players' deaths who fought to the end, and for faith based classes to constantly be shooing away naughty necros from their graveyards.
