A transparent, glassy gem that holds a dim glow to it. If one were capable, they could contain mana and magical power within, as it passively absorbs nearby light. Typically it shimmers a gentle gold, but the color will change depending on the affinity. The brighter the gem is, the more fuel is present; the dimmer the gem is, the less fuel it has left. These gems are rather fragile as a strong blow from a hammer can easily shatter a palm-sized gem. Supposedly they can only be found in Elfame, land of the butterfly's final flight, the Realm of the undying.

A droplet of concentrated mana rumored to have been bequeathed upon Meranthe by a powerful spirit of water and then alchemized by a guild of dedicated craftsmen. Coveted by many seafarers, the Blessings of the Ocean allows the imbiber to gain the ability to breathe underwater, granting a set of gills beneath the ears and swim long-distance. (Provides Swim upon consumption.)
Scarlet Spider Silk

A rare gossamer silk that carries inherently magical properties. The spider silk in itself may be processed and refined into magically resilient threads or integrated into clothing as they are. Either or, the spider silk produces an outer layer of innate magical protections refined into one's clothing.
Moonstone Cuirass

The Moonstone Cuirass is a beautiful piece of armor that defends a person's torso in an enclosure of moonstone and mithril. This cuirass, while immensely durable and dense, is deceptively light and can accentuate any magi's fighting style with the lightweight but effective measure of defenses. It is especially useful in defending against cosmic energies by directing the flow of the starlit radiance away and around the wielder's body instead.

Made of common brass yet somehow never having rusted, this esoteric coin brings the most extremes of reactions to its owner. Both fortune and misfortune alike are pushed to their utmost when owning the coin, allowing one to otherwise push their luck to a singular extreme. By flipping the coin, any chance-based result will instead be pushed to its utmost. It is said to have a limited number of uses, before eventually running out of the power contained within.
Authority of Ether

The Authority of Ether comes in the form of a pendant that, when worn, generates etheric wings upon one's back in conjunction with a crown situated above their skull. This brings a form of controlled levitation and flight, as etheric suspension serves to lift them off of the ground. Through this pendant, one's unrefined ether flows almost akin to blood from their veins and is controlled with greater effectiveness. It is said to be highly sought after by those looking to master their control over their ether, and also rumored to have hailed from Enarr's personal blacksmith, Helthion. The veracity of these rumors, however, is largely uncertain.
Salium

This small fragment of greened ice emits a strong, salty odor like an ocean shore. Its surface is irregular and rough, marbled with white veins. A simple process of grinding will yield a sparkling, rough powder ready for use. It can only be found within the Gotaal icebelt. Coating it with an object is said to grant frostbite inducing properties.
Soulsteel

An ingot of 'iron' harvested from the outer worlds of the cosmos, lending to a weapon's ability to rend the internal flow of magic rather than the flesh alone. This metal is stepped in mystical capabilities, but its fragility means a careful, talented hand is needed as that edge can quickly be lost with improper technique.
Lightning-in-a-bottle

An incredibly delicate bottle that contains an ever alight spark of lightning that strikes against the crystalline surface; contained it cannot do much and if the flask is open all of the energy will discharge likely injuring whoever holds it but perhaps a skilled artificer or alchemist could make good work of such a material.

An alchemical good so foul that it can supposedly cause instantaneous death to whomever drinks it... however, it has a scent that would make any throw up, not to mention that if one was forced to drink or tasted such a brew without truly wishing for death would also throw up as their body would refuse such a thing.
