This isn't about playing a spider mutant. If I wanted that I would. I even stated that at the end of the post. Maybe you should've read it.
I'm talking about adding more to the lore. Rebooting a race that needs it and giving it the same treatment that the cat people got.
Cat people used to be a fetished race then they got brought back in SoA and now they hardly get played. Same thing will happen with Arachne. It will blow up at the start then die down.

whoever ended up playing arachne would be one of two camps:
1. wants to fuck you, then kills and eats you
2. is a honeytrap for spiderfuckers, then kills and eats them
personally i'm in favor of both, let's go!
