(Another way of saying this is happening to all of the trees, and while some haven't gotten the stick yet it seems to be the new landscape) RE: Nerf Light. Its too strong. - Sokkxx - 12-30-2019 Yeah, it's really feeling like a penalty to go into Light now. It's good utility. But it's got no Damage Reductions, or any CC. It's not like any light users were stun locking and then unloading a 4 spell combo like what seemed to be the meta. It still took skill, and 20rpp for a teleport was more than enough. With additions to Shadow coming, and only super Phantom Strike on the way to light it's evident which of these trees is better to delve into. RE: Nerf Light. Light needs either holy or cosmic, which has plenty of either respectively. RE: Nerf Light. Its too strong. - OMNI - 12-31-2019 I will say from experience that Lightspeed should have a brief windup with a tell, not be an instant "I stun you now that I'm here from across the RPB". If it gets a wind up and a visual effect to tell you they're popping it? Then it's fine with a 16s or so cooldown. But uhh... Scattered Lights is not worth having on your bar as shitty as it is at dealing any damage at this point. Take Tackle instead (it's FREE). Effortlessly. Well used SL's are devastating, but I mean, I guess Holy and Cosmic have so much to offer that maybe it's not worth the space on their bar? RE: Nerf Light. Its too strong. - OMNI - 12-31-2019 If your health is low enough that 600-1500 is a third of your bar, I think you probably deserve that L. Scattered Lights does so little damage now that all its projectiles have to hit for it to do more damage than a single Tackle and most of the time, two or three hit, not all of them. Unless they buffed it up to have better damage. RE: Nerf Light. Its too strong. - Chance - 12-31-2019 It's 3 damage 6 times, which is a total of 19. So if you have 250 power, you will deal roughly 4750 damage. At 200 vitality, you have 45k HP. It's not complicated. RE: Nerf Light.
