Pursuits into creative and progressive interests such as artificing, alchemy, and arts would be fully encouraged by your mother and all efforts possible would be given to ensure your success in whatever you put your mind to. 

Despite her urges to see you grow, she is fiercely overprotective, monitoring your progress and safety closely throughout your life and more so as you grow into your own person. Being strongly opinionated, she openly voices what she believes is in your best interest, but can be convinced otherwise with a good enough arguement.

When you looked at your father carefully during your childhood his expressions were often stern, a look ingrained upon his face from years of military experience and protecting others, but when he came face to face with you, when he faced your mother, the expression on his face always softened in an instant. For him, you are his pride and joy, and where he might not have the answer for everything, he was always happy to help you in any way possible.

Despite his stern look, he worries about you a lot, distancing himself from you just enough that you can learn more about life and the choices it has to offer. However, just like your mother, he is very open with his words if he feels you might need a bit more direction on the right track.
