Although they're to remain a captive of the city. Their restrictions may be loosened and possibly a full display of redemption can warrant a more healthy reward.

Although it may be difficult to bare the sight of someone whose possibly caused more harm than good... I ask you give them a second chance. - Indefinite Imprisonment!

A balance struck between the three decrees. Should ones soul be weighed and found guilty, but not one deserving of death? They are to be purged of their dark magics and sentenced to bare their humanity before the city. Confined to a prison cell, they will serve the remainder of their life in there. Where they will repent and recount the tales of their life.

- Death! 

Should a person and their crimes prove to be too much? The corrupted will undergo a proper ritual of cleansing, purging them of their corruption where they will serve a minimum of two years in prison. During this time? The city shall make a vote, to decide on whether the death penalty is warranted. Should it be passed? The execution will be held, publicly.
