Snowflakes on the ground.
We used to watch them together.
Now, where am I going with this?
Where am I going?
Now they drift apart.
I don't want to drift apart.
Sometimes a storm has to end.
Why does it have to end?
Snowflakes yet drift upon the night sky.
Illuminated by the moon above, basking in the glow together.
Yet now?
I fear I may never watch them with you again.
It's cold.
The cold no longer feels so inviting.
