The Deep Hold is alive, The Monarch can be heard and seen ordering Cambions, and the Undead do all of the hard lifting, destroying, and constructing. Koar and element demons are lurking around, helping where they can; there has been a rise in population and creature sightings across the cursed woodland.

Such thinking has only served to make you neglect one very important aspect of conflict... You're all overly logical, oblivious to reality, and living off practicality. However, at your heart, you are all simple-minded beasts.

       

I've seen hate personified, burning in the eyes of a man vowing revenge at any cost, I've seen fighters lose control, all logic giving way to rage, countless acts of vengeance all driven by fury.

     

Yet, through my challenges and tribulations, I have endured and witnessed humanity's irrationalism.

    

No matter how much time passes; no matter how much we modernize; no matter what societal constructs we vow to follow... Humans will always be human, and when pressed, your true hues will reveal themselves.

    

Wake up and confront reality; these are our territories to claim, and we live in a world that no longer repeats itself, a world of only victors. I'll sever the fate of this world, extending my hold on Meranthe; for this reality is hell.
