You have been Cordially Invited - SilkiyTea - 08-12-2023 Who am I, if not a gracious host? To those that came before, and those so close to my child. Let us have ourselves a night to remember~ Ah, and masks are optional... After all, you're already wearing your own. Aren't you? Synopsis: After the events within Perkalas's hometown (IE: The Men in my Dreams), she has been silently trying to seek her father's whereabouts. Small leads lead to dead ends. Though it seems that she needn't have been looking so far and wide. Rumor has it that the once abandoned and desiccated Hamlet Perkalas last visited has has become active with new life. Those dressed in gaudy attire and adorning masquerade masks have been seen wandering about the premises, decorating these abandoned hovels and hamlets, celebrations are abound. Revelry and indulgence is en masse. Though these are clearly not the original inhabitants of the hamlet, which still sits in decay, they're here to have fun after all, not to clean up... After all, those that'd assisted Perkalas prior already know the truth... And upon the highest hill, a Mansion has appeared out of thin air. One that dwarfs the wealth of the tiny hamlet by a landslide. It brims with metaphysical activity, and it is said that those that enter... Never come out. That upon the grounds of the mansion, a creature lurks and lumbers outside, eating flesh and bone from those that proffer to it. They say that the sounds of screams- ranging from agony to euphoric bliss, billow from the open windows. Though such would not reach Perkalas's ears by word of mouth, but rather a simple letter, an invitation, for a child to return home, and finish her final act. Character Perkalas Attendees:  Four other individuals, they will receive their invitations shortly... Theme: Revelry, Indulgence, Mockery, Horror, Masquerade, Temptation Risk: High chance of Injury, Low chance of Death Rewards: To be discussed with DM DM: I have one in mind, if he is not available I'll ask another before making any requests here. Additional Notes: This is Part 2 of: https://chronicles-of-eternia.com/forum/thread-15492.html The main antagonist should refer to Perkalas only as Perkalas or 'They/Them' or 'My child'. I will be providing a few screenshots to help get a jist of the antagonist's personality. I Will be requesting 2 very important things for this Event. 1. The return of the first boss that was never slain in the previous event (Jackie, a childhood friend who was fleshcrafted into an abhorrent monster) 2. Each character will need to inform the DM of their character's greatest temptation/vice, something said character finds irresistible, and will struggle to resist the temptation. This should only be related to a concept rather than a physical item.
