Timeskip Vote - Chance - 03-09-2020
Not long ago, there was a public discussion regarding a timeskip, and to gauge the overall thoughts a poll was put out there with the results made public. After some time and consideration, and an additional vote among the admins, we've decided to pursue this idea further and put it to a final vote by the community.
What you're voting for specifically is a timeskip, where the current IC events will be tied up and set the tone going forward 50 years into the future. This means that everyone makes as new characters in an even playing field.
This would involve the following, which is subject to change. It's being kept relatively vague for now since nothing is set in stone yet:
- The map is receiving a make over to encourage interaction outside of cities, with key travel routes between resource spots and cities.
- The opportunity to play descendants of current characters & an 'elder' role for select existing characters (within reason).
- Clear guidelines and instructions on building, such as founding a village or adding something to the map, as well as detailing of declaring war on a kingdom and sieging its city.
- Elaborating on certain aspects of the lore, such as the Primordials, which will be tied more closely to the game through dungeons and objects of magic to strive after.
- There will be three distinct cities/factions. There will be no NPC leadership aside from when a role is unfulfilled:
Theria - Drakanites will spawn here, solely, with a focus on the race, its history, and religion
Moonfall - A new race will be introduced, Teraphim. These are spirit-imbued protectors.
Witches & Demons will be sub-groups with their own headquarters, but not a city.

As an addendum: If we do this, we'll wait for the current arc's curtains to close rather than setting a specific timer / date. We included that option to see what people would prefer. Your support & feedback is appreciated.
