Second Step - Dreamspeaker - 11-06-2024

A few years have passed since the initial breach against the Pantheon.
At its conclusion, it has become clear who the target would be - Mestra. A god wounded by the efforts of the Atrellyan army prior, now the army of the First Imperfect seeks to increase the damage and remove any remnants of their godly influence upon Meranthe. Any artefacts, symbols, records of rites and rituals, holy texts - all shall be tossed to the pyre amidst the great invocation.
The grand ritual, which will utilize the reach upon the Mestra obtained prior, all to send another surge of backlash against the god.
Much like before, any would-be allies are joining the cause. Whether it be mercenaries out for a profit, third parties with their own vested interest in this, Undead creatures that were directly created by Varrach himself or beings of darkness most commonly referred to as Fel, all join this crusade against the god whose influence no doubt shall be waning even further.
The armies march upon the walls of Londo. Whether it will stand remains to be seen.
Objective: Occupy the city of Londo & host a grand ritual against Mestra

The sleepy autumn city slowly rouses to the light of a new day, the city streets bereft of any person and being; a faint siren sounding off in the distance. a new notice has reached the monarchy, the machinations that guard the entrances and exits blearing out a warning signal.

Over the coming months hand written letters will be sent out to allies requesting aid in the defense of the city, stamped in the royal seal of the monarchy. Along with another notice to be posted alongside.
A 100k bounty to be paid out to whoever kills Varrach for good and brings the monarchy their corpse, with hints of further incentives to provide a similar fate for those who are aiding him to attack the city as well.

The words reached the ears of a certain Fel Lord quickly, a twisted laugh echoing through the location as he heard.

The inhuman voices echoed from the recently revealed Fel Lord of Terror, Nomul Nightfall. A clear warning sign that if they was going to play with their wallets, they better bring more to the table.

The Bells of War tolls and the Giant of Londo stirs. Gathering the Emberheart Legion, the Commander begins to prepare his warriors for combat. The recent calls of those to be enlisted within the walls have been heard by both magi and non-magi alike who man the walls.

Extinction has passed.
Though many kingdoms remain naught but smoldering ash, including that of Londo, it would seem that the army of the First Imperfect did not stop their march. No, instead they took their time to prepare for a ritual ahead of time, one that would take place upon the ashes of the fallen city.

The army approaches.
Their numbers seem to be missing every single Demon ever since the grand ritual of the nascent Primordial, Vdali-reborn, yet the Occultic beasts remain in line. They are followed by the myriad Undead, for their master is well versed in Necromancy, enough to field armies of his own. With them follow a variety of mercenaries still looking for profit, and any would-be allies that seek to disrupt the balance of the Pantheon.
Yet as they approach, another force appears.
It seems that their efforts were noticed. The Pantheon noticed- Mestra's guardians in particular. Those of Meranthe would no doubt field a measure of resistance, but it would seem that even the wounded gods would eventually strike back. The elusive group, Ad Contra Deos, can expect their first bout of resistance against those that would guard the heavens and the gods themselves.

(OOC: The Londo raid is being turned into public event instead. Matchups are expected. Both sides will also face their own EC to battle; the first line of defense of the heavens will make appearance.)
