As the shadow of the Demon King rises over Meranthe, the Pontifice of the Asperan Church calls the people to meet in the Sanctum of Unreality. This will be no simple 'sermon', but a mustering of arms - a gathering designed to strengthen all who will stand for the continent's salvation.

In light of such a statement sent forth, the villain sees an opportunity to make a public statement against Atrellya, he had hoped others would see this gesture as confirmation that he does not support the fel, Atrellya, or the invasion of the demonic horde in any capacity.

The ball was placed within Gloomlight's court, but whether he would actually attend even if granted temporary amnesty is likely another matter. He was known to be paranoid, and much more, a liar. This statement could've been expressed with the intention of playing at an angle, but until a response was levied, and the day came?
No one would know, except himself.
