Golden Requiem - ZeroDH - 06-19-2025

Somewhere near the ever-cleansing Tree of Song, on the edge
of the Shadowlands, there lies a budding seed. After some time, it
has grown into a small golden sapling. The nature and purpose of
such a tree remain all but unknown. However, there is a gentle
word on the breeze: it is said a synthetic man is seen frequently
around the area where it was planted.
❝ How long has it been, old friend?
Years? Decades?
It has felt like an eternity to me... since you were gone.
...Now that you are...
-- despite knowing you since my creation, we never spoke enough.
I looked up to you, brother.
As my senior, and as a leader. We all miss you.
All those dreams -- I don't want them to die with you.
I will give it my all to still see them through.
My dearly departed friend, Uralai. ❞
