House Aissenai, of Caethir - Kiseki - 08-12-2025 ![]() The noble house of the Aissenai is one of humble beginnings, founded by Erryt Aror, and Pris, a fae.
Such a name has a meaning, nomadic warriors, referring solely to the origins of this house's founding figures. Both were once wanderers, ere they found a place they could belong to, in Caethir. ![]() Born in the Therian Mountains, Erryt Aror was the seventh of eleven children. She worshipped Garjling, alongside her family, and strived to become one of His Champions. This brought her to Meranthe, where she sought the blood and riches that she could offer to her patron. Many considered her a miscreant, whilst others saw more in her. Whatever the case, her motivation never faltered, as she toiled for her people. Pris was a fae of no renown, that arrived to these lands to carry out her mission: to protect her mother, the Great Tree of Life, Yggdrasil, and heal nature in this realm. She was a kind and gentle sort, that wanted nothing more than to guide others unto prosperity, and share of the same love she harbored towards all of creation. Together, these two friends appeared before King Lucion C. Fair, and Queen-Consort Calanthe F. Caewynn,
and swore their fealty to the kingdom of Caethir, and its people, declaring the following... ![]() House Aissenai is dedicated to the acquisition of knowledge of most sorts, so that it may enable creativity and usher innovation to the kingdom of Caethir. Loving creation Nature is to be loved and cherished. Trees, flowers, animals -- all of it should be appreciated, for it is the land, so beautiful in its makings, that does provide for its children, who are blessed with nourishment and prosperity. It is no surprise, then, that House Aissenai goes to great lengths to protect and preserve nature. Additionally, it is not unheard of for members of the house to take to farming, following in the steps of Lady Erryt. Denounce the darkness The pursuit of the dark arts, including but not limited to riftmancy, necromancy, witchcraft, and occultism, is forbidden. This is a subject of great importance to House Aissenai, for these arts only bode ill for the world at large, and the realms beyond ours. They have taken it upon themselves to deal with their practitioners, one way or another, though they do tend to be just a bit less belligerent about occultism, considering that it is accepted in other parts of the world. ![]() In due time, their numbers grew, granting them power, fame, and status, and allowing them to enact their ideals. Members of House Aissenai do not have any distinguishable features, instead having appearances as varied as their personalities. Regardless of this, however, they all act in accordance with the teachings passed down to them by their predecessors, a responsibility inherited by their successors. ![]() After the lord or lady of the house, the heir apparent is the second highest position in the house. Below them are other members of the house, such as siblings and other descendants, followed by more distant relatives. At an OoC level, as of the time of this post...
