Autumn Update (2.10) - Chance - 09-14-2025 ![]() Hello, hello! It's been a while since we've had a scheduled content update, almost a year in fact. Originally this was the update format of choice, but there was a heavy preference towards more frequent and live updates in a community survey. Personally I have a preference towards larger, seasonal updates with smaller patches in-between (bug fixes, balance, etc) and that's what we'll be doing for now! Behind the scenes, Zonespace has been doing amazing work in setting the foundations for tactical combat. Group battles (2v2s/3v3s) are what I've found to be most entertaining and what the classes and skill trees are designed around. We have a decent base level of content now and find it ready for global testing; this is not the default combat method, as it is currently very much a work-in-progress! Development focus now and in the future will be enriching the sandbox experience, with attention paid towards each character's individual worth and role within the world. Beginning with an overhaul and remake to most crafts, as well as perks and access that settlement leaders can grant as collaborators. This will include: ➤ Dedicated area, territory, and warfare zones, as well as supporting event management in-game for factions to collaborate and conspire against one another (interactive supply drop offs, siege preparations, war camps, etc) ➤ Excavation zones and regions for PvE (as well as resource wars/alliances) as we move towards a modular quest and dungeon system based on these exploits. ➤ Improving the settlement system, making it more immersive (construction sites, characters contributing towards organic expansions). Crafting stations that can be enhanced and support for group Wonder projects, as well as a content foundation for the latter. Tactical Combat
Tactical combat is now ready for public testing! This is a massive project that has been worked on largely in the background until now. as a public beta. We've been enjoying some exciting 2v2/3v3s and hope you will too as we iron out the bugs, add content, and polish the overall experience![/align] Early footage!!! Visual improvements are planned now that we have a working prototype!
Cooking Remake Cooking is the first of the crafts to receive a remake, aiming for a more modular approach. Instead of set recipes, you interact with the oven and add your protein of choice, along with additional ingredients (up to five). Begin with the process and let it simmer away, then customize the final result! ![]() Keymapping Remake ![]() ➤ Various improvements to fishing. You can now catch ultra fish, and also at level 100 fishing you unlock an exclusive Master Fishing Rod!
➤ Scarecrow!
You can add/remove helpers that allows them to harvest crops, interact with livestock, etc, within the radius.➤ Mounts can now be used in battle (solely cosmetic, does not grant movement speed), and also flying mount options that can cross the ocean!
& more! We're discussing a Druid class and a new race, so expect an update on that later on. The development coffers are also a little sparse at the moment so if you're interested in donating (maybe you have a content request?) feel free to shoot me a DM and we can talk about it!
