Riders appear through mist on the ridges of Xuefeng territories. Bannermen return to their place of birth, riding in the name of Mitsumo Shinjitsu Irontail— humble son of Prince Miharu, grandson of Shogun Miyumi.

Why?

They have come calling for others who would share in his hero’s journey. Not merely humble servants alone, but the loyal and honorable samurai, the most cunning of shinobi, and the wise in faith and counsel. All are sought to help aid Mitsumo-sama’s path for the honor and future of their people.

Who you are..

Samurai: +16 age, warrior sworn to blade and code, protector of the lord and keeper's of his honor.

Shinobi: +14 age, a unseen blade, observer from the shadows, keeper of secrets and information gatherer.
Servant/Attendant: +13 age, Sworn to their young lord but whose humble duties keep the retinue whole.
Sensei or Advisor: +18 age, voice's of wisdom and strategy, guiding Mitsumo-sama’s steps with their counsel and foresight.

No matter which path, you are sworn in this journey by honor. You are highly familiar with the culture and customs of your people, and expected to keep to them. (And any other cool idea's you might come up with that we can talk about in dms!)

What is the purpose of the Retinue?
Loyal Samurai, Shinobi, and Servants alike gathered beneath Mitsumo Shinjitsu Irontail, grandson of the Shogun and descendent of the Emperor to help the future of their people, and perhaps forge a new fiefdom.
