It all started with an increase in the number of ships passing by within the peaceful island that is Sapphire Bay, transporting various goods.
As the days went by, rumors spread of workers moving in furniture. 
The farmers working hard to grow more produce.
And during the colder, quiet nights? One could hear the faint sounds of singing within the castle.

In time, the cause for the rumors is revealed with an open invitation sent across most of Meranthe, with copies stamped on the public boards of the following cities:
Kindleheim, Gloomlight. Aetius. Delphina. Arcadia. Sapphire Bay. Pyrithian. Crownforge. Sanctuary. Caethir

Each invitation was perfurmed with the smell of roses, with the following message:

Quote:"Greetings, one and all! Ladies, gentlemen, and all the lovely ones in between!

We are currently at a rare moment in time where peace reigns in Meranthe, strained or no.
Knowing this, I, Harry Kazana Emeraldi, would like to invite each and every one of you (with one unfortunate exception written further down), 
to a gala in Sapphire Bay to celebrate this moment in time.
A chance for us all to enjoy each other's company with food and drinks, with singing and dance for as long as the night would let us.

I'll be looking forward to see you all, in hopes of a night we may never forget.
And yes- This includes you too, Bobby Wood. How could I otherwise speak for peace without first burying the hatchet?
I'll welcome you in as an honored guest!

Meanwhile? The preperations in Sapphire Bay carry on.
After all, when the invitation given to almost everyone, who knows what could happen?

The Princess of Fortune, Aurelia Odile Emeraldi, will be in attendance at her Kingdom's gala.
Her missive arrives to Sapphire Bay in the hands of mercenaries, duplicates readily pasted to fences and lamp-posts alike to ensure Prince Harry, perhaps others as well, would see.
