A symphony is played, and the hymes of death echos across the exapnse of the underdark.
In mass, life is rendered null.
A binding of sacrilege is to unfold.

To lie so brazenly, to use her name so.

I see you, Cifer Mugen. You, who slaughter my people. You, who target those I hold close. You, a poacher among my flock, a misbegotten bastard of a man. The latest incarnation of The Long War, of spanning centuries.

I believed that my faithful could resolve your blight. I believed that my people were strong enough. I believed that the scales of the world would balance themselves, that someone, anyone, would step forwards and end the suffering you pervade.

Time and time again I asked myself over and over, when is it the time to strike, when is it the time to lurk. How often I have trusted in others to kill in my name, to fight in my stead, as I sat by and worked endlessly towards the future.

Yet now, now, I see. Now I understand. Today, there is no hero coming. There is no savior to answer these prayers. It is too late for that, now.

There is only me.

I loved her.

I know that you are to blame, beyond it all. I know it was your fault. I know that it was in your name. I know even now that you try to tell the masses that it was my hand what ended Alysleneth Zeral, that you twist the knife embedded so near my heart.

I know that you do these things because you are afraid of me.
You should be.


You took someone from me.
You keep taking, and taking, and taking.
The world keeps tearing and ripping at everything I love.
And now I see you. You. An avatar of everything I hate about this world.

There was a time I had faith.
You lot didn't seem like inherently bad people in the beginning.
   
Faith that you could have been a good men. 
Faith that you could have re-joined society once freed from the Void's grasp.
   
Now? 
The only mercy you'll be granted is having your pact shattered before you die so that your souls may rejoin the cycle.
   
Reports of mutilation, kidnappings and death have all reached my ears and now I'm coming for you; too many lives have been effected by your depraved calling. Too many lives corrupted by the Void's touch. Too many lives lost.
   
One by one you'll fall, starting with none other than:
