An Impossible Home. - mat13295 - 01-28-2026

A story from a walnut. And yet, such a story was far too detailed to be contained in such a tiny nut.
-
A story of a strange building built from the roots of the world, held together by the mud and sap of the earth. A building that hangs above the soil, upheld only by a singular thread of straw.
-
A building that constantly twists and contorts like a snake into the air, its shape a marvel of engineering. But no man should ever have been able to build such a thing.
It is a home and a stage for lost Children. A stage directed by one known as "The Tragedian." A mysterious man in all black with a plain white mask with a painted frown.
-
It...
-
Might even be home to a certain Ookami.

After recounting such a tale to some friends, The Ookami that speaks in theatricals and riddles seeks to find this building from a dark fairy tale.
To rescue the children within now doomed to repeat a tragic play under the Tragedian forever?
Or perhaps it is to bring a true tragic end to the show itself?

The party is assembled, all that remains is a playwright (Still seeking a DM)

Quote:
"Apologies, my Squire. But I believe this is a journey best made with those closer to you than myself. I wish you luck."

And so Paloma leaves the party - an actor has left this stage...

...

And a playwright stands, asking with quill in hand:

"What is a stage of players without a script?"

I am removing myself from the attendee lineup to take a crack at DMing for the first time.

Event plan in the works. Normal CoD.

Remember to memorize your lines, and ask yourself:

"Where does the actor end and the character begin?"
