Mauling Grounds [Speira vs Arcadia] - Galion - 02-27-2026

For several seasons past, conflict and strife continued amidst the Greywatch and the monsters of Speira. Though conflicts few were observed between higher class magi, the blood toll remained very real amidst scouts and low-grade monsters. No more then vestiges of battle remain, acrid scents, corpses, and the encampment of monsters, seemingly chased away.
This was far from the end of Speira. Testing grounds- rising amidst survivors, intellects and new strength. The titans freed their cosmic shackles continued to grow. No longer was it a lawless encampment, but a mobile one, swimming with coordinated monsters.
A silent warpath carves its way through the southwest of Meranthe, until mobilized forces come upon an obstruction on the road.

Magical protections guard it from the initial assault.
Lightning diverted, and vigilant defenders deter the initial wave with volleys of arrow fire and spell weaving.
The bulk of Speira's forces move further to the west, where the camp has been relocated. However, prowling once peaceful forestry is a coordinated force of monsters. Their numbers, seemingly replenished enough. The safe haven no longer, as war besets itself upon the gateway to Arcadia.
