Upon the nation of Atheleon lay a darkness ever encroaching.


Strife plagues the lands, as the meek are caught and cast into damnation or death by voidic witches and inducers of woe.
Sorcerers of malintent gather all of Meranthe's treasures and relics with greed, for otherworldly sacrifices.
Silver is stolen en masse by bandits of greatened prowess, as the innocent are robbed of all their valuables.

And by these movements, notions of virtue are stolen from the continent's denizens as well. Those who would otherwise not, now claim mimicry of these actions, for how brazen they have become.

...For seemingly ever, this has been a common plague. Yet if evil shan't rest? Then its opposition will not either.
