Maybe this is a super controversial take, but I like the idea that your narritive development, the story that you've told, is chiefly responsible for getting you sigs? My favorite arc I've played on a character was a slow burn dev arc to overcome a traumatic event and injury which culminated in Dark Guardian in a way I look back on really fondly. This would not have had the same impact for me if I instead earned this sig off of fulfilling a checklist of activity requirements.
