 Training is paying off. I'm able to stand for my ideals.
 

The others and myself were accosted by a thug who wielded a blade and magic not incredibly different from my own. I wondered if I could do it. You know, sink the edge of my blade into someone even if it was to protect another. I thought I could, and I was right. But I hate doing it. There's no joy in splitting flesh, drawing blood, not for me anyways. But I'm capable of it and I'm getting better at it. I hurt the guy's shoulder pretty bad on accident. I messed up. I'm not settling for winning. I want to win and achieve the outcome I want and have full control over it. What's the point of 'winning' if you can't decide the manner in which you win? The means of getting to that victory?
