-1872-

The desert was a warm and expansive golden brown,
as wide open as it is ever possible to imagine.
At it's border, the Rhoynish have made their mark.
Clan Ilian's High Lord issues a statement:

Quote:"Long before Vanirhallans came to this desert, a proud city was built here.
It welcomed Champions n' fighters of all kind, ruled by strength. It's name? Ilburg.

Now, Aesirheim sits there.
I'll let you take that as you will.

It's name has long since waned out, a former image of what I once heard stories of.
Ever since, it's most recent failure was a defeat by a rag-tad group of ogres, and a child;
My younger sister.

I wanted you to help return Ilburg.
I wanted you to bend the knee easily, Granny.
Pass the rule down to a fitting generation.

See eye to eye.
But since you accosted me so harshly,
We'll do this the hard way.

I guess my younger sister didn't teach you properly,
So I will,

Ragnhild Sionnach."

(Kaine Dayndros)

The Progenitor of the plan makes his word known.

Quote:
"Clan Ilian belongs in the desert.
Ever since I was a kid, I've been dreaming of returning there...
- of livin' how we were meant to. The day such a dream comes to reality is almost here,
we're taking what's supposed to be ours, manifesting the destiny for the clan that we've been robbed of.

It ain't anything personal."
(Masai Gardios)

Fort Erradir prepares for an assault, it's objective?
Conquering Aesirheim, returning their home to it's aforementioned location.
Win or fail, the Rhoynish set their sights upon the desert.

A sandstorm appears in the horizon. A sea of red in its wake.
Aesirheim attacked them. Killed some of them. First.
They won't sit idle. The swarm is on its way.
To finish what was started.

Quote:"You can have it, brother.

Aesirheim. The desert. Whatever relics that may rest under the sand. None of it interests me.
The past has no importance to me. Make your castle of sands, if that amuses you.

But I will make this clear.

She attacked and took lives from us in her vein attempt to kick us out.
To teach me a 'lesson' apparently, well, now it is my turn.

She is mine, brother.

Don't you dare deny me the satisfaction of putting her skull on a spike.
She crossed the line and I'll make her suffer for it.

I don't need you to protect me anymore.
Kaine."
(Samina)

The monsters join the fray against Aesirheim.
It is none negotiable.

And so from Aesirheim, the quiet village hums once more to life.
It's warriors ready rifles and patrol it's hills, sharpen axes and prepare.
A hymm of battle fills the hearts of those who pray. The name of Kark on the lips of all.

Quote:
"Seen eye-to-eye? When an ally comes and insults the people who bled to build and restore their way of life. Would you see eye-to-eye with them?"

"Would you happily kneel and play second fiddle when the people you trusted stab you in the back, and treat your people as an afterthought?"

"Would your pride allow ya tah sleep at night if you allowed your people that fate. The people who wanted nothing more than a home where they could freely practice their ways and religion, becoming subsumed by those who would no doubt see them changed."

"We could've stood side by side. Built something greater together. Instead, you came to me as a conquer, wishing tah 'restore' a village that still exists, biting into the throat of your ally the moment you think they're weak enough to be easy prey."

"Perhaps we'll lose and languish beneath ya. Perhaps there's no chance of victory. But our pride remains strong, and we'll fight regardless of odds or death. That is Kark's way, that is the pride of our ancestors, of my people. Come and face it, Snake."
The Rhoynish raid will occur Saturday October second at 6pm!
The Ogre Clan raid will occur Sunday October third at 8pm!

Don't ever speak to me or my son ever again

The Rhoynish have repurposed their cause. Details surrounding this decision are unbeknownst to the public eye, but there's a single objective in mind.
Defend Aesirheim.

With the recent news, the sandstorm caused by the hordes seems to wane little by little until it is completely gone. The monsters have retreated from the desert to return home in order to prepare the battle against Osrona. Aesirheim is saved from this threat, at least for now...
