RE: Spell Balance Suggestions - Gab - 12-09-2019 Spells: Cosmic Hidden Auras Suggestions: Since +AP on Auras and Toggle Buffs now apparently only scales off your base Power, it would probably be a good avenue to buff the +AP ratios on Starlight Overdrive and its peers, considering +30 MD at 200 Power is probably an inferior stat bonus to Cosmic Aura's 25 Power and 20 Crit. I've also mentioned a similar scenario in the Super Nova - Flame Shroud relation. If I'm wrong and AP's scaling still comes last on damage calculation like in Spires, disconsider this suggestion to Cosmic. Just going off what was said in the Gentle Blade thread. RE: Spell Balance Suggestions - Rod - 12-09-2019 Spell: Lariat Suggestion: Take the stun away and lower the CD I won a fight by just Lariat -weighted punch- axe kick-water whip- feral claw- whatever the other kick- water beam 40% to nothing. And yes you can do this entire combo , because certain spells don't give you delay to the next attack ( weighted punch, feral) This meta is absolutely out of control RE: Spell Balance Suggestions - Laemor - 12-09-2019 Spell: Energy Aura Suggestion: The +10% AP below 50% HP is only applying to SPELL AP and not actual AP. Not sure if that's intended since it'd only boost the energy skills on bar, but not the melee skills. RE: Spell Balance Suggestions - Lorelai - 12-10-2019 Spell: Unarmed tree Suggestion: Change their CDs, or increase their CD, remove GCDE from all its spells or lower their damage. That kit has too many teleports, too much damage and too much CC and when you combine it with other things it becomes unstoppable. It also doesnt need materials or money to make it good like armed does. I still want Unarmed to keep the GCDE on its attacks as well as CDs, and keeps its insane pressure, its what makes it unique compared to Armed combat But I do say, remove Lariat's Stun Lower all Unarmed skills damage atleast 30%(No one knows how much murderous surge does) And we'll go from there What really makes Unarmed dangerous is how it chains with other stun builds so easily (Bone, metal). Alongside the fact that the Stun meta is out of control. To anyone who defends Unarmed that 'It doesnt have good CC' they are just trying not to get nerfed and/or blind to buying other trees. I for one, who use the damn tree, want to see justice brought. I like seeing tanks, but that guardian bug Oyster posted sounds serious. As for CC chains, it's hard to avoid-- but water has been around as the CC bot since Eternia 1 and it's been relatively low damage despite all the CC. When combined with super expensive trees, it could be dangerous but not crazy. However Unarmed is another CC bot tree and it has a lot of damage-- so Rod might be right on taking off its hard CC, and then lowering its damage across the board. Not permanently, but just so you can slowly tune it up to the strength it should be. RE: Spell Balance Suggestions - Oyster. - 12-10-2019 I think the real problem with unarmed is jab- there is practically no way to avoid it an it puts you in a position where the normal counters like beams can't even be pressed in time. I don't know why they get a better strike/dash strike hybrid spell that somehow combines lightning aura actives. Suggestion IceFlurry/Flamethower- May want to drop the amount of damage ticks these things are putting out. I did test with my IceFlurry, and the range is 1 tile, lasts 2 sec, but them damage ticks seem to be too high. |
