I hate balance. I hate talking about balance. I hate reading about balance. I hate the endless circular arguments regarding balance, I hate that people pretend that they know what they are talking about. I legitimately don't think anyone knows what's really going on 90% of the time regarding balance. I legitimately don't think there are any "bad" builds so long as you have the holy trinity of a stun, slow, and cleanse. I hate confusion status, it's annoying. I hate blinds, they're annoying. I just want to look cool while I'm getting my ass absolutely fucking handed to me. That's all that really matters. It's for these reasons I think we should buff melee. Every buff to another tree that isn't melee is secretly a nerf to melee, be it armed or unarmed It's time we admit it to ourselves. It's time to change melee, it's time to buff melee. It's time to recognize and submit to melee users. It's time to once again enter a new era of armed and unarmed dominance. It's time for mages to piss and shit themselves prostrating before a melee user when they walk into the room. Why do I want this so bad? It's not because I am a melee user, which I am. Is to have the maximum range for a summon to be away from their user before they get resummoned back to their side increased to a distance long enough so that it won't happen during roleplay battle boxes. RE: Spell Balance Suggestions - Spicy Serious - 09-27-2022 Side-tangent while Golemancy is being talked about Buff it a little maybe? From what I hear it’s near-useless because the summons die to the first stiff breeze they encounter. (Unless it’s something like War Summons where you can just, dev to make them stronger I guess.) I just think it’s out and out worse than any other summon spell rn. Including basics. No reason to use it over general ones like 'Conjurer' when they offer nothing else beside a Shield (Not saying shields are bad) but without doubts the Crit Negate passive was the feature that gave spice to the stance. I also believe all bladestyles should give at least some minor 'phys' since they're.. BLADESTYLES. |
