[Year 2149 AC]
[The Summer of the Burning Heavens]

Almost 20 years have passed ever since the events of the Shattering took place; the time when the First Imperfect has re-emerged upon this world.

Much turmoil and darkness took place upon Meranthe. The Extinction has passed, and taken the lives of many; it has re-shaped the very land, leading to the devastation unlike any before. Countless wars between the righteous and the wicked, the Pantheon Schism, all intertwined with the political conflict between the warring states as the Republic & the Kingdos of Delphina and Serenity seek to maintain the stability of this broken land, while smaller states seek to eke out a way to survive, whether with their independence in tact or as vassals under mightier nations.

And amidst it all, the Revenant of Ragnarök seeks the absolution in the heavens. At first underestimated perhaps, the first venture was taken lightly and gave a reach to the Demon Lord. The second was taken with the far greater severity, with much of the forces emerging to display their resistance against the encroaching darkness, but it was still not enough.

Only with the third does the hope finally shine, with the mighty Lumin King defeating the First Imperfect in a single combat as an aftermath of their grand battle, and the finest of the Republic and Delphina coming to stop the forces of Ad Contra Deos & their allies, the remnants of the Morningstar and the new force of the land, the Lost Legion of Oscuri.

But in spite of their latest success, it was perhaps too late to stop this entirely. The wound of the world has not closed; the reality split remains in tact and gives way to the invasion upon the heavens, to reach to the most sacred throne - the throne of a god, Mestra. The threat has never been more real before and the finale approaches.

Deicidium, the Man's Adjudicating Lance, the god-slaying relic is finally revealed by the First Imperfect.

The promised end approaches.

(( OOC: This is the finale, which would target Mestra directly. Exact date & time are pending, as well as the circumstances of this. ))
