LammyThe Bounty Board (Official)

A more recent post has rendered this one outdated...

A reply offered in simple, elegant script by the hand of Oracle Loramelian Ueda. (Not even one picture of a dragon, boo.)

Quote:"Has the story changed now, then? Now we are told that you were deemed innocent - not that you mysteriously survived your execution attempt as a riftmancer, made as part of an agreement where you only would be tested and Zoryana Hiraeth, allegiant of Atrellya, daughter of Helheim, would not?

"Well, then, we apologize for the error. Let's correct this."

"...and, at the same time, why don't we prove how little greed for Midpoint's... unimpressive funds motivates us?"

WANTED:

ZORYANA HIRAETH - 100,000 COINS, ALIVE - To be turned into Gloomlight prior to being remanded back to the personal custody of Azalea Aubreen, upon her request.
ANY WARRIOR OF MIDPOINT - 75,000 COINS, ALIVE
ANY BOUNTY HUNTER WHO ATTACKS ANY WARRIOR OF GLOOMLIGHT - 50,000 COINS, DEAD OR ALIVE
JONA HIRAETH - 1 COIN (UNWANTED)

Through a large clientele base and many many connections does word soon spread of a particular artist's ire having been gleaned once and for all. She who usually stayed out of politics and affairs such as this.

"You put an offensive bounty on my husband, and presume he's a Warlock. But have you ever considered looking inside to your close allies?
I suppose not."

Loramelian, Oracle of Aphros - 100,000 coins + A free painting (total price: 500,000)
The Commander of Gloomlight... What's his name? Erebus? - 100,000 coins
Edwyn Meeksworth - 100,000 coins
Ansel - 100,000 coins

Raikami P. Kasca - 50,000 coins

"Happy hunting!"

On a board in the plaza of Gloomlight, a young girl hangs up a flier... written in crayon.

"Ansel is not a witch. Don't be mean."

10,000 coins to whosoever can make Miss River take down Ansel's bounty.
+ One Painting made by Miss River if she also apologizes. (From Lily's collection. If unclaimed, will be burned.)

On the boards of the nation a new flyer was hung yet this one was not a bounty this one was a scolding
"one bounty one one side yet another bounty onto the outher side. trying to increase the price like an auction.........what are you all doing?. you are all like Children trying to be better and show the other side, ohhh im the bigger one i has more coins well
NERA CALLS YOU ALL STUPID AND CHILDISH.
Lifes is Precisous. and each life taken away. is not just one life. but many others hurt. friends and family. yet here you all are playing games of who kills one first for coins.....shame on all of you. Non- Fel and Fel alike....one should only be on this board for a ACUTAL reaosn. think if your child was being hunted for coin. you would worry. no?.  or your self?. your children would worry
is this maybe the day i see my parents last? or my child?"

Why?
It was simple: the Commander was pissed.

"Just 30'000 thousand? A single dungeon run? Allegations that have no grounds in reality, for I was already proven to be innocent by dear cousin?"

"Let's play have you ever."

"Have you ever had your entire settlement reigned down on with bounties, regardless of who they are?"

"You do now."

Name: Aphrosi Combatants.
Reward: 100'000 crowns for knights of renown, 75'000 for unimpressive knights, 30'000 crowns for those below. These apply to everyone but Erebus, Lirael, and Loramelian.
Notes: They are worth more alive than dead. But the head of Edwyn is worth its weight in gold and discussions can come later.

A light sweep of the boards of Meranthe. It seems that mercenary season for war was over...

And as if in answer, a new post by the Oracle...

Quote:
The bounties posted by myself and Edwyn Meeksworth on behalf of Gloomlight Grove are no longer valid-
with the exception of the Midpoint soldiers bounty to stand unless and until they revoke their bounties upon us.

The following specific bounty is added:

"RYOKO" - A green-haired girl with brown wings dressed in all blue.
Wanted for the crime of brutalizing the Oracle's farmgirl Calista, an innocent civilian, repeatedly and with malice aforethought.

50,000, DEAD OR ALIVE.

The bounty on RYOKO has been increased to 75,000 COINS.

Quote:"She had the audacity to send me a 'personal cease fire request' because attacking Gloomlight forces was 'not her desire', without word of apology or thought of remorse for repeatedly assaulting a civilian.

I would be happy to lift the broad bounty on Midpoint soldiers as a whole would they respond in kind - but people who attack civilians merely to make a point are the kind of monsters everyone in Meranthe is better without.

Interested bounty hunters would be advised to look for her in Midpoint's vicinity."

This bounty has been canceled; see below.

The Hunt of The Child Hunter
A Bounty for Phillip's Capture

Across Meranthe in as many cities as possible were flyers spread for a bounty on a man known as 'Phillip'.
The man has harmed and robbed many of Meranthe's children while showing no remorse, no guilt, and no cause to assume that he would cease his actions.
What better Karma than for a child to issue his justice?
The 'Man' in question has: Short, black hair. Tanned skin. Often wears all black, with a black overcoat. Metallic arm and a rifle at his back. He's Tall and skinny, often drunk.
Beware of the Air affinity he holds. Along with illusion magics. He's quick to start a battle, and even faster to depart from one.
He's wanted Alive.  Limbs and belongings aside from his rifle are completely optional.
A reward of 50,000 will go to the first person that brings him to Majora, Meryl, or Lavenza Malibu.
The Target is not to be given into the possession of Levius W. Malibu. Avoid him like the Plague.
Happy Hunting.

Following the deaths of

Eivor Ualdirsson, Exarch of the Tens' Citadel,
and Hina Lam, Chancellor of Jiuweihu,

several bounties had been put out by their daughter, from Aegis,
word already spreading like wildfire throughout the lands,
coinciding with the incoming auction.

100,000 coins are being offered
for the head of any confirmed member of Atrellya,
alongside two outstanding bounties.

Silence would come from Morningstar for a bit after the announcement from the Deathwind Fleet.

Though that silence would be broken today, the words, however, would not come from The Tal, but from her second in command, in the form of written posters that would be spread around Meranthe.

“Greetings Meranthe, I am The Savant.”

  • "Though some may know me by a different name, what you should be considering right now is the offer I place before you."

“We value truth, as servants of the Morninglord, and decry deception as the tools of the fearful and duplicitous. As it turns out, there lives among you a deceiver most foul-- and his apprentice, too, her tongue just as forked.”

"Tate Briar claimed to be part of Morningstar to save their own life. They are, in actuality, a student of Grey, who appears to continue to teach the Art despite his supposed 'redemption'. Their lies while a captive of the Deathwind Fleet have caused our reputation to be sullied.'"

“Though Tate's survival via deceit is one we do not condone, they are but an agent to a far more annoying pest. One that we will gladly pay to have removed from Meranthe, in what some would call an act of public service.”

“As for Lavenza, such shall be handled as well-- but let it be known they are not with our group either, merely a pretender taking the Prophet's name in vain. A child acting out, little more.”
