Once upon a time, there was a sirenian that was sent adrift, washed ashore.

Adopted by a human family, she was raised by her Mother until her untimely death.
This sirenian would find her memory tested time and time again, as would she her breath.

"It would be nice to learn where I came from, but I have avowed myself to land.
So long as I serve there will be no moment that permits me a path to those old days.

And besides,

I cannot remember a thing." she mused one day to one of her Suladari.

By all miracles, she has once again survived a gorish exchange, and dreams thereafter have pervaded her every thought.
Hazily, she finds herself reminded of a home long-forgotten, the word 'Kulbaktu' coming to mind.

After some investigation courtesy of Nereides' diverse citizenry, the word encompasses a small ocean territory to the North East.

It is only right she investigates, is it not? One can only pray curiosity doesn't kill the fish cat.
