In the brewing era of chaos and uncertainty, one thing has remained certain. The Mountains belong to the Dwarves. Nearly a decade after the liberation of the lost fortress of Koganarth, the King under the Mountain has finally delivered his royal summons to Ganlodur, the hills, and the liberated fortress of ancient dwarfkind alike.
Quote:
To whom it may concern,
Orthys Crownforge told me to hold these lands when he departed, and a dwarf's word is stone. So it is I make the first, and possibly only request I have e'er made to the mountainhome.
I need dwarves. The brawnier the be'er. Battle hardened or green, former prisoners of Vaelryth or just drunks from the hills. We need all the swords we can get lads. The road north is long and cold, but Stonehaven is warmer still. Rise, sons'o Galnur. Rise and be baptized in true winter and errant flame. Our work is nae yet done.
Sincerely,
Daggar Coaltooth, Last of his name, Crownbearer of Crownforge, and Lord Regent of the Northern Territories
PREMISE:
You might be....
One of the slaves of draconic tyrants liberated from lost fortress of Koganarth a decade past....
A common hill dwarf heeding the call of a distant royal for wealth and fame and booze....
One of the noble houses of Ganlodur or its soldiers, sent to gauge the strength of the fortress in the far north...
Or perhaps you're home grown, and one of the original migrants that settled Stonehaven, having finally reached age of majority!
(These are not all options for backstory, simply leads if you lack your own interesting idea as to how you heeded the call.)
OOC

This is a spawn-a-soldier for DWARVES. That means you will likely be a HUMAN racially (for now).

If you come up with a compelling reason to not be a dwarf with your applied concept, MAYBE.

You will be provided development opportunities, arms and armor and rabbit juice (oh my!), dark secrets that will endanger you, my endless patience in making unique weapons for you, and much, much more! (not that much)

You might have one of the LOST ADAMANTINE WEAPONS of ancient dwarven history, reclaimed from Koganarth with its liberation! (Standard Spawn-a-Soldier benefits apply)
Their are THREE slots. DM Sanguine415 if interested.
