“Who will catch me when I fall? Will you share my pain?” 

Cervantes Blackthorn’s house has been rendered completely empty, with rooms in torn down condition, the chests collecting dust over the years. The absence of the Lord grew more frequent as time progressed forward. A letter is left behind for his peers to look into. It reads, “I have fallen into the depths of despair. Until I return, Sirius will take my place as the new Head of the Blackthorn Household.”

Of course, the latter has been kept hidden until the expedition has officially begun.

A strong pull can be felt tugging on his mind and spirit. An invisible force calls on his name, a siren's song that disguises itself as a sweet melody. Honied words whispered through his ear, beckoning him to seek out this mysterious phenomena.

The fog.

A dense, hazy mist that covers the width of a small forest. Its impenetrable to any source of light. The mist conceals the presence of those who tread through, as though the passersby themselves had ceased to exist. Rumors spread that its vaporous nature is but an illusion that tricks and deceives the minds of others. Perhaps it could be the moisture within the air acting haywire, or an illusion casted by a “Demon”. 


For anyone who enters has their darkest of truths revealed. A mirror that reflects even the most hidden of emotions. It often discovers the type of emotions that lies on the darker spectrum, alongside furtive secrets of clandestine actions and habits.

Mayhaps, this phenomenon is an entity beyond mortal comprehension. Or shares some relations to the ‘Falling’ of Angelic beings. 


Who catches you when fallen into the vast sea of despair, regret, and sadness. Should you drown if you fail to combat it. Or escape its murky clutches.
