The Biblon Five

A mysterious image has emerged into public consciousness in a collection of eerie myths and legends.
Many teenagers believe it to be cursed, and others say it is staged.
It is simply called the "Biblon Five".

Despite most considering it a novelty,
a niche group of researchers have agreed after studying the so-called "original" print:

It is genuine and minimally altered,
and has been labeled on the back by an unknown party:

Quote:Figure 1: 'Sinka' - Female. Furthest left. Praying.
Figure 2: 'Trefor"- Male. Furthest right. Reeling.
Figure 3: 'Winry' - Female. Laying down. Exsanguinating.
Figure 4: 'Monroe' - Male. Pleading. ████████.
Figure 5: ███████ ███ ██████ ████ ███
Taken by Tintagel

The researchers have since established more information:

1. Biblon is a library, long abandoned for unknown reasons.
2. The blood stains are real, present before and after censoring.
3. Light distortion around each figure deemed to be actually present, of unknown source.
4. 'Monroe' is holding something, but the object is obscured by redaction.
5. The image is in color despite its appearance.

Over the course of research, team member Astor N. took the original print home for personal study.
He has not been seen since, though he left the print behind.

The last time he was seen, he mentioned being invited to tea by 'Treslu'.

No one in his social circles has heard the name before.
Efforts to trace the name revealed little but
a note erroneously left in a thesis on hemomancy:

Quote:
"According to 'T', his mentor is 'many things'
except for a witch, a necromancer, or a mere hemomancer.
I asked if she were a spirit,
and he smiled and said once more:
'Treslu is many things'.

I asked if he could give me a solid answer,
and he said something queer:

'She holds The Mire's Left Rib'.

'T' then said he was due for tea with her and left.
I have settled on the belief this 'Treslu' is a spirit,
or something akin to it.
Will look into this at a later date."
