Where tragedy strikes across Meranthe, so goes an apparition. At the edges of battlefields, mingling among crows as welcome guest. In the alleyways of great cities, where the poor and destitute huddle to stave off hunger. Near the unmarked communal pyres of rebels, rising first to cast off oppressors and then again as ashes into a cold, uncaring night sky.
  
From these places all across the world souls go missing, following the lullaby of a most unlikely Shepherd.
  
A magic shapes you anew, an art long lain buried and dead. A life before of suffering forgotten.
  

But why is your heart still so full of rage?...

Perhaps, before this new life, you were a lowly soldier in a fruitless holy war; a starveling on the streets, while others feasted; maybe even once a citizen of Atrellya's distant shores, lain low at a young age in a rising rebellion.
  
You do not know what you were or what befell you. Memories of that life before evade you.
  
Yet there is an indignation sewn into your very core. A scorn for an unfair world that wronged you.
