Much has transpired over the years since Ivarr, the Restless, had named his successor. In this time much has been accomplished under her guidance. The Shattered Flock grows in number every day. Non-Magi and Magi alike come to join the Flock. To follow the True Path. The Path of Amier. Many young magi have expressed interest in becoming an Acolyte of the Flock.

With little foundation to go on other than the rank of Hofgothi, the Hofgothi speaks now. The reformation of the Shattered Flock.

"We are the Faithful of Amier. The followers and preachers of His word. The practitioners of His will. We the are the blessed of His sacrifice. We are the ones able through Him. He is the Father of Giants and the Savior of Humanity.

Rank and Titles of the Shattered Flock.

Hofgothi

The leader of the Shattered Flock. They act as the Shepherd of the Flock. Guiding them along the True Path. Keeping them upon it and offering guidance should they stray from it. The Hofgothi acts as council to the Grimnir of Vdalion and the other Figure Heads of the Empire. Many rituals, abilities and certain permissions are granted to the acting Hofgothi. 

Radiant

Radiant's are also known as High Priest or High Priestess' of the Shattered Flock. They are of the highest regard in terms of faith and spiritual understanding. They are capable of preforming rituals without the permission of the Hofgothi and are capable of recruiting to-be Acolytes into the Flock. They act as council to the Hofgothi and are meant to train the Priests and Priestess' of the Flock to become Radiant.

Priest/Priestess
Priest and Priestess both hold the same amount of permission and respect within the Shattered Flock. They are devotees to the Life of Amier. A dedication that sets apart from all other life styles. One that requires a great deal of selflessness and self-sacrifice to obtain. A devotion to the people. Their main objectives are to study the words of Amier, to study the ways of the many rituals within the Shattered Flock and to guide the Acolytes to obtaining their Priest or Priestess marks. 

Acolytes
Members of the Flock that have decided to take the trial of dedication. To see if they are truly capable of walking the Path of the Shattered Flock. They are given access to certain abilities. Their main focus to pray for other magi and non-magi of Vdalion. To learn the words of Amier and be able to speak them as if they were their own. They are taken under the tutelage of an acting Priest or Priestess.

Congregation
This of course is belongs to the non-magi and magi who are not to take the trial of dedication. Members of the Empire who still love and worship Amier, but are more inclined toward other life-styles. They are not charged with any account other than simply being faithful. To gathering as they please within the Temple of Amier to give thanks, pray or whatever they so wish in the name of the Shattered One.

Word from the Hofgothi.

"Greetings and good fortune, Vdalion. Amier smiles upon us. We walk the Path of Amier truer than any of the generation before us. While we do so, we must also not forget that their generation paved the way for ours. To allow us to walk this path. It is our task, nay, it is our Call from Amier to act as the shepherds of this new age.

In this new age. As my first official act as Hofgothi, I rename us from the Faithful of Ymir to the Shattered Flock. As we are His children and He our shepherd. Our arms open and welcome any magi that would like to take the Trial of Dedication. To become Acolyte and further learn of Amier's word and will. Any interested in doing so are encouraged to approach Hela Vorraog, Jericho La'Novella or Hildir Thorruhn for the initiation. If they cannot be found then you may approach the Hofgothi all the same.

Soon there are to be regularly held Sermons. To preach of and teach of Amier. In the years to come a Festival of Amier will be hosted by the Shattered Flock and the Empire of Vdalion. In this festival a Tournament of Arms is to be held. A Grand Feast and a Grant Ball to accompany the Tournament as well. Other entertainment and perhaps even prizes are to be had as well.

Vdalion has proven itself different than the generation before us. The Empire has proven itself stronger than ever. Know that we walk the True Path of Amier.

For it is through Amier that we are able. It is because of Amier's sacrifice that we are blessed. Hail the Shattered."
