[Zhonya's Hourglass]

Shuri Castle, nestled within the heart of a sprawling forest, is a place shrouded in both legend and infamy. Its notoriety arises from the haunting tales of the countless demons and other supernatural entities that once terrorized the land, transforming this idyllic castle into a battlefield where the living and the supernatural clashed for dominance. The castle's once-majestic structures are now weathered and crumbling, their grandeur overshadowed by the grim history that befell them.

In the distant past, the Castle was a crucible for an endless spirit war that raged back and forth between mortals and the oni. This protracted conflict witnessed the deployment of "unknown sorcery" to combat the otherworldly forces. Powerful incantations and mystical wards were etched into the very stone of the castle, where mages and warrior-monks fought side by side to repel the onslaught.

Now, an endeavour is underway, driven by the pursuit of answers and the acquisition of knowledge.
