Character: Svengalf Sandsker
Which Event: Cradle of Humanity
Responsiveness (Were their narrations posted within a reasonable time-frame and were they quick to respond?): The time spent that everyone was contributing in the narration sure was worth for the quality of the roleplay done in this event. Even if we had to split into two parts, I for sure do not regret the time we have spent together !
Bump
Balance (How entertaining were the battles, and any obstacles/traps?): The battles were nice and amusing. It was threatening, punishing for any wrong action. But also humanly reactable and readable. And actually the combinaison of our different strengths helped to cover each of our weaknesses.
The puzzle phases altough gave me some hard time, I had to triple think on what would be the next action considering at how rough the failure to succeed the saving roll was. But we were handled good tools to mitigate these losses, even if in the end we took some scars on the way out. It could have been *way worse*, fitting for a CoD event.
Bump
Storytelling (Did it feel like an adventure, did the content of the narrations meet your expectations?): It was wonderfull ! At first, I was a bit perplexed about the whole deal at how abstract the plot felt. But after experiencing it ? That journey was a wonderfull time to read and be involved with, fitting of our characters.
Fairness (Were the punishments justified and earned, was the risk to reward ratio good?): Likely the most dangerous but fairest COD I have done yet. The challenge was here. Just the puzzle/survival part needed a lot more of effort on how to do with how punishing wronging there was.
Bump
Overall: I had a very good time. Narration was good. The scenery put was awestrucking, the gimmick of the card felt powerfull to pull it. I would recommend CraftDM if you want to go on an epic journey where everyone can feel like a hero !
