Why's it taking so long for a 'scene' example?
I decided it'd be a cooler look for the game if it was actually HD2D like triangle strategy, so I'm teaching myself 3d modeling.

I am now making a few 3d tiles (minejcrraft,...)

And I will be focusing on getting the 2d character sprites overlayed, alongside getting pretty lighting and shadows working, then I'll make a bunch more tiles.

Ignore how horrendously ugly it looks with one tile and no lighting, but I already have rule-based tile proc gen working in Unity with the ability to hand paint them, which should make scene generation faster:

What this all means is I'm gonna need some more time setting everything up, but after this initial time investment I'll be able to make scenes both fast and pretty. Yippee.
