The samurai of Xuefeng march south. Crunch of hooves over deep snow filling the realm, echoing in the beat of heavy drum that signals each step. Ruby banners sway and the phoenix rises upon its tapestry. Lofted as a screech which pierces the ear of all who oppose thunders on high, they very same call which plays as soothing melody for the forces beneath.
Phoenix feathers rain upon the invading force, dark plumage that melt against snow and keep company warm despite the north's climate. Beats of its wings, purple streaks through the sky and swoop over a trio of horses which lead the company.
At its head, a woman carrying the eyes of ruby which reflect their banners. Their left flank hosts a large drakanite bearing great wings of ebon black. And upon the rightmost flank, dark feathered wings stretch from a lean frame, another swoop of the phoenix landing upon the shoulder of said rider as all come to pause before the mountain pass and last stretch before arriving upon the abandoned lands of Varesia.
