Within hours of the messenger's return, yet another report found its way onto the Lady-Commander's desk. Yet another report of a traveler being maimed by the same creatures as before. The message was received, and evidently ignored.

It didn't take longer than a week or two for rumors of a magical beast, Wattson, being slain near the forests surrounding Monster's Peak. A second message left behind by Delphinian forces in response to the beasts' actions.
