Broken Election Cycle

(The Political Shift of 2196 A.C.)

It was quick and without much warning. What should've been the 11th electoral cycle had come to an abrupt end before it began. Some claim that all of the political parties were simply bought out with the arrival of a mercenary group intermingling amongst them. Others say that the President themselves bought them out, for some form of political gain. There are even slight rumors that a boon of political power was granted by their very Patron, stirring at the minds of the various political leaders so that it'd be so. Regardless, the voting ballots are never unveiled; instead, the rise of the Chairman takes precedence. One such position, that would be taking the place of the Presidency for the foreseeable future.

Who was to say how this would affect the political landscape or relationships of Antefinem with Meranthe at large? Only time would tell.

For now, the current Chairman Jase Valkynia stands at the top, with most of the previous inhabitants remaining present throughout.
