[Sale Bête]

  

Long awaited ships come into harbor. They skirt around the edge of Meranthe and come to rest in a bay somewhere in the depths of the Shadowlands, docking just south of the Sanctuary. Their hulls are worn, riddled with damage, but the cargo? Safely arrived, and flying under foreign, faded, wind-lashed flags atop their masts.

 

Worn figures disembark. Huddled masses tread down the gangplanks towards the settlement's welcome embrace.

 

The doors of the keep are open, citizens old and new and friends of the Sanctuary welcomed within. The tables are set for a feast, the denizens of this land shrouded in darkness making ready a welcome for weary sojourners that have made the long and perilous trek.

 

A long trek to a new home, now at an end.
