Key/Character: Ivonne S. Mugen
Which Event: Trials of Camazotz
Responsiveness (Were their narrations posted within a reasonable time-frame and were they quick to respond?): The replies were pretty quick and informative; I’d barely finished processing what I’d read before I had to respond. Yes, I’m a pretty slow reader, and I often glance at others while I try to write properly (I’m not known for writing long posts.)
Balance (How entertaining were the battles, and any obstacles/traps?): I don't have much to say (maybe) other than, MY KIDS.
That's what I mostly shouted as I watched my daughter fall... and fall again... “Have a little more mercy, wait, hit her a little harder, she's still moving...” (The same applies to everyone else)
To be honest, I thought that several of my children would be reunited with their father on the other side, but that wasn’t the case, and I’m glad.
(Blessed be the luck of some)
Storytelling (Did it feel like an adventure, did the content of the narrations meet your expectations?): I learned a lot—way too much... which is a good thing. A lot of the time I had to tilt my head a little and say, “Oh, man, this is a history class I know nothing about. Start taking notes.”
Fairness (Were the punishments justified and earned, was the risk to reward ratio good?): I got an amazing reward—no one in the group can beat me! So yeah, it was totally worth it. (Wait... what’s the reward? FOIC)
Overall: I had never participated in an event before, so I appreciate your patience with me. Sometimes I responded slowly; other times my mind went blank as if it couldn’t process the information, and my computer decided to let me down—BUT!
It was an incredible event that had me on edge almost the whole time; the ending was a relief for my character—the conclusion of a story between Cifer and Ivonne that was mostly predictable—so yes, I’m absolutely thrilled with the result.
Any other comments: My kids need therapy... and physical therapy... anyway... I'd gladly throw them back in there to take part in another event.
*Watches her children being slaughtered*
