2221AC-Hope in life, acceptance in death.

Despite New Mavethkar surviving Myridia's attack and all the hardships that came to the island in the following years it started to die, streets lost people after the migration that came from the promise of mutual destruction. But not all hope was lost, citizens stepped up when New Mavethkar needed them most.

First a brave Wolken knight who chose to wear their colors and fight against one of Myridia's leaders, then a kitsune acolyte who chose to spread Mortyl's word even when the Duke disappeared, and finally a young magi merchant who supplied the city after the Duke was gone.

While the hidden Hand and his heir gave their best to keep the island alive, it was the efforts of the citizens that stepped up that kept the island alive and somehow...slowly civilization in New Mavethkar healed.For 10 years no one heard of the Duke of New Mavethkar, he had been temporarily replaced with Lynette Anwar who acted as the small island's overseer for Athelion.

Then as the island's population started to die the newspaper of New Mavethkar brought news that no one expected, the Duke of New Mavethkar had returned and his position was given back to him.
Lynette Anwar will take the position that once had been held by Cassius Bargiel and act as Atheleon's agent on the island, Mortalytes will once again rule themselves. As for the Duke's heir he chose to retire, there are rumors that he has appointed a new heir but not one of his bloodline but who?

Weeks went by until the Duke made an announcement from the top of the tower:

"I did not want to come back, I was in a peaceful place. Yet, one cannot run from their responsibility."


"The brave souls that kept working even when all odds were against New Mavethkar didn't give up, so to honor them I will not give up either. If I'm cursed to not die, I shall use my curse to honor the island of Death."

"Vaska Folkhorn has been appointed as Knight Commander of the Twilight Knights, the Crimson Knights will disband to reflect this new age that we enter. A church will be built and Vaska will be it's Paladin while Misaka will be appointed as Head Priestess of Mortyl, the merchant Ferox Moonshade has been appointed as steward of New Mavethkar."

"To avoid the mistake of the past, this time I will appoint my heir before anything happens. Misaka Notte will be my successor, and I shall take the name that I used in a past life.

Misaka has been adopted by me, she will be taught to become the next Radiant of Mortyl. As for the church, after a vote between the citizens it has been decided that it will be a church of hope in life and acceptance in death...a church of Mortyl and Pylae."

Future in the island of Death is uncertain but it seems that they are rebuilding, population is growing again in their island and they once again are preparing to expand.
