Summary: An omen rises in the wake of the falling star. A single night under a blood moon has monsters attuned to certain magics stirring, and the wielders of the blood arts unable to sit still. The sky reflects the tension as a waxing red crescent moon crests the horizon.
This night, in the sands near Ilburg, a swarm of bloodthirsty worms amass drawing in those who would seek to prevent a rampage across the desert. Through it all, the red waxing crescent held true to a single truth.
Something was coming.
Tone: Ominous, Blood Bath, Madness, Morally Ambiguious
Risk: High COI we're talking frenzied monsters here.
Rewards: Blood magic dev items: Blood worm organs, blood tainted by the blood moon, etc. Corpses of unfortunate travelers (for prospective necromancers/cannibals or pocket loot). Most of all Development and future plot line (Blood moon Phases)
Attendants: Open to all interested parties: Blood mages that feel the coming battle frenzy, Citizens of Ilburg, people in search of darker studies. Up to four others are welcome in the blood bath
DM: Open to any, preferred for a sequence of 3-4 in a chain.
