Truth be told, it's probably the best case for not having unlimited refunds.
I went unarmed from creation, because I didn't see any dagger weapons that I could buy.
That said, whether something was "abusable" or "meta" in the past, doesn't mean people should stay silent if it is knocked to the ground too much. Doubly so for those who picked certain trees, each for their own differing reasons, only to see the tree keep getting nerfed and nerfed over and over again.
