Where there are rests to be experienced.

You do not hear them,

But dear reader, I assure

You, they are there.

You experience them the

Same as when you experience

The notes,

The allegros and the

Adiagos.

When everything goes

Silent and the orchestra

Appears to be slumbering

Like a great dragon.

Then much like a

Dragon’s roar, it awakens all at once.

Whether it’s played at

Fortissimo or Pianissimo

It comes like thunder.

The years after Baleford Bridge
