The regent of House Caewynn has stepped down and the heir has ascended to matriarch.

A small speech was given by Lady Elanil Caewynn.

Dor'alanor,

To great Nemea, my songs of praise.

To great Delphina, my loyalty forevermore.

Today I accept the heavy mantle of Caewynn, the legacy of mine ancestors. 

In this time of great turmoil, our sacrifices pave the road to a forgiving tomorrow. 

To those that stand stalwart with Caewynn, thy house will never abandon thee.

With bated breath we await the announcement of our new monarch. Caewynn has always understood that tradition is to be respected, not worshipped. Fair Delphina is a city of progress, the greatest of all Meranthe, now and forevermore. Our noble ancestors achieved this by always looking forward.

Were we slaves to tradition, we would never hath left the forests of old.

I know the future Monarch will reign just and wise. Caewynn stands ready to support.
