The sixteenth floor is but another reminder that the tower is a wonder--a wonder, vastly dangerous as it was utterly mystifying and adventurously emboldening. Once an uninhabited corner of the realm of Ifraheim, it now serves as a prison camp for foolhardy adventures that sought to advance further in the tower. The masters of this prison are dissidents native to the realm of Helheim that showed defiance in the face of one of their lord-marquises. Normally where lesser demons would be reduced to ash on the spot, the lord was particularly merciful and instead cast them into Ifraheim. Their untamed savagery saw many fire spirits laid low. Time spent proved to have strange effects upon these abominations' bodies. They were touched with the blessing of fire from the lands' influence, a gift that they used to further wreak havoc. Many years later, those that lie in captive, innocent or otherwise, now serve as laborers for the encampment whilst they prepare to eventually mount an assault on those that had flung them to where they now were.
Of course, things at this particular camp weren't going to go smooth. Not when a young man and some of Aphros' finest were soon set to happen upon this floor and see what it has to offer.
