Character: Sabriel Equisol
Which Event: Into The Mines
Responsiveness (Were their narrations posted within a reasonable time-frame and were they quick to respond?):
The whole event, which encompassed 3 encounters with traps inbetween, was only 2 hours! Very quick responsiveness and he was well prepared with posts written beforehand.
Balance (How entertaining were the battles, and any obstacles/traps?):
Battles were quite balanced and fun, though they moved around a lot and had CC immunity- it made landing beams or other hard hitting moves (such as shadow cannon) rightfully difficult and/or impossible. But their stats were well compensated, and the only time I really questioned the balance was when he messed up and placed one too many Storm AOEs- and he recognized and apologized for it, so it ended up fine!
Storytelling (Did it feel like an adventure, did the content of the narrations meet your expectations?):
The buildup was interesting, the golem funny and thematically appropriate. The mention of dwarves was a little out of place as the Storm King himself wasn't mentioned to be a dwarf, and what exactly he was doing in those mines, could be chalked up to senility.
Fairness (Were the punishments justified and earned, was the risk to reward ratio good?):
For a CoD, two of the members only received Arcanium and coin.. not great? Part of the issue is that we actually missed a dev material by completing a puzzle successfully.. I feel you should not be punished for that, even if we would've had to fight for it if we did fail!
Overall: Positive first event! Hope for more
