I wanted to post another poem - A SUPER OLD ONE from when my character was a kid. 

I might have Rap Battled a witch named Love. And I

Might have won.

"Loveless"
As a lodestone in a river of needles

Their silence is telling, and true

Moving with the current

Pulling you away

Mesmerizing you.

Flowing with the flotsam

Jerking with the jetsam

Drifting away

Yet Magnetized

Collapsing into lungs

The needles, like swords of wind

Which pierce the skin, the flesh

And leave a wound which will never heal

Of pain and anguish, and mesh

It cuts

And bleeds

And drains you dry

So deep you know you'll never cry

Begging the ravens who watch above

To take you away in martyrdom

Yet that murder never moves

As the river of needles crushes you

Beneath their surface you descend

Hoping, at least, you'll begin again
